HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! My story and pressies.....

So the story of you have a couple days?  What mom!?  I gotta keep it short...well ok I guess I can try....

This was the very first picture that my mommy saw of me and since I don't tell anyone what happened before this day I'll start there....

I start with my mom's story.  This is all repeated from her words to me. yea, she talks a lot!  So...she and my dad had been wanting a dog for a couple of years but dey rented where they weren't allowed to have ANY pets!  Can you believe dat!?  So they got married and immediately bought a house.  The first thing they knew they wanted to do was get a pup.  They just didn't know what, where or who.  So they looked at all sorts of breeds: Labs, Puggles, Boston Terrier's, Pit Bulls, and all sorts of funny mixes that they hadn't heard of.  They just kept checking to try and find what they were lookin for.  And they kept checking a website called Precious Pups (yes I am precious)- see that's where my cousin Dillon came from before going to Homeward Bound (where Emmett and Corbin came from) to make more room and my auntie Jen Jen still helped them up there.  They are way up north and don't get a lot of people so auntie Jen Jen tries to help them as much as she can.  So mommy and daddy saw this picture of me and two odder doggies named Nash and Jersey.  They liked the looks of the three of us and decided to travel up to meet us (3 hours away) and decide which doggie they wanted for their own.  They said they wanted an older doggie instead of a puppy.  So they called Lisa and Jim who run da place and set up a time to meet us.  They asked lots of questions and were told that I was a stray that was brought into the local kill shelter where they rescued me from.  That was all they knew.

My side: So I don't have any pictures of me before the first one that was taken wif Lisa and Jim and I don't like to talk about me before that time so let's leave it at I was a stray that was brought to this strange place where they weren't gonna keep me alive for long.  See I am Rottie and they thinks Pit Bull and 2 years old....lots of things not in my favor for adoption.
I don't have any baby pictures but I looked online and think this could of been me when I was a baby....

So anyway Lisa and Jim came to get me and asked me to come to their place until I found my family.  I definitely didn't want to stay at the shelter so I ran to go wif them.  I was there for a couple months.  They had lots of room for me to play.  I got to play with other doggies and be in their house wif them too.  They said it was to see if I was house trained and good wif other dogs but I just think they wanted me in the house wif them :)
There was this man that came to see me a few days before my mommy and daddy came and was interested in me but Lisa said that he would have to wait since she had someone coming that weekend and promised to be able to meet me first.
Saturday August 7th came and my mommy and daddy came to meet me.  As soon as I saw them I was barking from my pen at dem.  And I never bark, it's just that when I saw them I knew I wanted to go home with them!  They said they had met Jersey at the foster mom's place and really liked her but her foster mom wanted to keep her.  They met Nash first.  Mommy and Daddy loved him but he was like on puppy crack or something cuz he was pretty crazy and mommy and daddy were scared he would be more than they could handle.  So they came and met.  Sees, I so much more cuter in person that they picture showed.  And they were amazed at my block headedness.  I came out to meet them and was excited but was sure not to act too crazy like that Nash.  They taught me sit in like 2 seconds with num nums and were amazed I was off leash and so good in the open yard.
But they were very upset about the other dog still and said they wanted to go have lunch and discuss things.  They wanted to be sure to make the right decision even though I tried to tell them it was ME!  I mean...they got in the car and I was skeered they might not come back so I jumped in the car wif them.  I knew they were my pawrents without a doubt!!  But they took me out of the car and drove away.
They came back about an hour later.  Apparently they got a little lost when they went for gas after lunch.  I was soo nervous.  They said they had thought long and hard and knew I was going home with them.  So they signed a bunches of paperworks and I got in the car with them.  It was a long car ride home but I gots to sit in the back seat with my new daddy so it was pretty pawsome....

And when we finally pulled up to my new home, I knew they I had made the right choice!  And mommy and daddy saw ALL the time that they can't believe what a great dog I am and that they were so lucky to have picked me!  BOL!  They didn't pick me---I jumped in the car wif them, but hey, I'll let them think they had a choice :)

PeeS...Don't worry about that other man who wanted me, he adopted another doggie there.  Nash found a home and went to Long Island and Jersey lives with her foster mom-who is now her permanent mom :)

Sooo.....if you are still awake let's move on to pressies for my mommy and daddy.
First I would like to get dem on of these things

cuz they said they like camping and I can't wait to go wif them but um....not so sure about sleeping on the ground in a tent so this looks like it would be much more comfy.

Then I think I would get dem one of these

My daddy just LOVES them and Corbin talks about it so much I think they should have one and I can ride in it wif them.  I could see it now....

And also one of these....

cuz I would love a brudder or sister that I could play wif.  I would even be ok if it was one of these

as long as they were my furiend!

Ok, ok so I know this sounds like gifts for me but come on- mommy and daddy love me and therefore any gift for them is also something they can do wif me.

So there you have it folks!  Hope you are all awake still and are having a woofderful thanksgiving day!  I can't wait to eats day turkey and stuffing wif my mom and dad.  If I don't get to all your posts today I will catch up tomorrow!

Barks atcha soon.....

Puddles Special Brew

Here it is folks!  Puddles own brew made specially for her from the Levi Mac Brew Factory!
The Doxie Ale has a crisp fresh squirrel flavor with a touch of Cheeto and hint of Mango for that extra special kick.  The unique robust taste will keep you warm with sass and make you feel good!

Taste test reviews provided by:

My cuzin Dillon:
"Although I am not usually an imbiber, (as I must always be on the look out for forces looking to breach the manor)  this is just the right mix of hops and processed cheese.  The dash of mango gives it that little extra kick (must be the slobber).  I am concerned that if my beast cuzin drinks this he will have even more reason  excuses to put the bitey on me."
My furiend Maggie Mae:

"Dis beer/ale  is in a class by itself! After tasting it fur da first time you realize it is da beer/ale fur you! A strong brew, full of flavor, spunk and feistiness AND it goes well wif cheetos, cheeseburgers and squirrel stew! I luvs dis beer/ale and I know you will too!"

My furiend Corbin:
"Now this here... this is a quality brew! Its ever so fresh and short. Its got some zest and a tad bit of hot dog flavor. A savory gulp for any one! Its so crisp, cool and refreshing. Clearly a must have at all blogville pawties. This is the brew you need on those cool porch nights cuddled on the couch under the Christmas lights in June. A great chaser to those shots of koolaid. This is my top pick of the century and may very well replace my Keystones."

Now this is a tasty brew and all the doggies have been lovin the test this guy

And this guy can't seem to get enough...

These guys show that sharing one of these brews is always a good time wif furiends!

Even the kitteh's have been enjoying the fresh squirrel flavor!

And guess what...the big strange dogs liked it too!

And we didn't know what the hell this was...but hey!  We don't discriminate!

We even snuck some to this guy to try....but shhh...don't tell the Secret Service, BOL!

But warning...dis stuff is potent and don't drink too much like dis guy....

Or you'll end up like dis guy...

and dis guy...

So gets your orders in!  Puddles...I have already sent you over a case :)

Hope you all will likes it I am off to have some is a Friday night after all!  Party on dudes!

Barks atcha soon....

The Proof!!

Not sure if anyone remembers my cousin Dillon's supposed claim that he does not do the things I accused him of and he was gonna get the law involved but mamma finally obtained the proofs we needed!  And let me tell you that if this is true....then you just know the rest of what I said was true!!
If you don't remember then check out the story here.....Tasty Dillon
See I own up to my truths that my cousin tastes yummy and sometimes he sticks his head in my mouth, but he swears he would never do such a thing and that he would never put my head in his mouth and dat the picture shown in dat post was falseness and he was only hugging me wif his head and not trying to eat me.  LIES I TELLS YA!!

Refreshing those of your minds of his response to that other post.....

"Dillon's Rebuttal:
Good Afternoon Doggie Bloggers. I am normally a rather reserved fellow. This blogging thing is new to me. (Although my mom aka Auntie Jen Jen reads all of your blogs and laughs her head off). I feel as though I must clear my good name based on these libelous comments made by my cousin (my mom is also a lawyer - so take that Levi!!).
I would just like to clear to the air on a few things:

(I) I put up with a lot from Levi (mostly without retribution) and I would like to point out that I hold 2 degree's from Good Manner's Dog School and I have also had some additional advanced training. Now my cousin Levi on the other hand . . . where to start. This beast puts the bitey on me constantly, does not "settle down" when told to do so and runs in the other direction when his mom says "come". I try to explain the "play rules" to him, as I am also currently enrolled in a top flight school (The Pet Lodges in Glenville) taught by a real 2 legged favorite of mine named Michelle. But I digress.

(II) I most certainly have never put that beast's head in my mouth. I mean really. Lord knows where his head has been last. I am way to refined for such shenanigans.

(III) As far as the allegation that I peed on him. I was simply going to the bathroom and the ding bat stuck his head under there - what exactly was I supposed to do. I mean he didn't even move he just stood there and let me keep peeing on him. His mother (my Auntie Jackie) had to pull him away. Um yeah - I'm dealing with a real genius here.

(IV) My alleged bad boy behavior. Yes I do have a tendency to get riled up when I meet another dog on my leash. I was attacked by another dog while out walking one day and now I am leash reactive. But as I have mentioned already I am getting some advanced training with that and getting better everyday. However, in an off leash setting I am a total angel at my previously mentioned place of learning.

(V) Tasting like chicken. This may in fact be true. I have never bitten myself so I can neither confirm nor deny this allegation.

I am really starting to like Albert (brother to Puddles) he seems like a very sensible fellow. We should get together and have tea.

Regards, Dillon"

So anyway...despite his denials to the fact here is indisputable (yes Dillon I can use big words too, I just don't like to show off- so there!) proof of his eating my head.'s not my fault I has a big head and he can't fit it all in his mouth.

As you can clearly see, my head is in his mouth.  And while I do think I am tasty too....he still tastes like chicken, BOL!
So all in all, I think this proves my case and if this is true, then you know the rest of my allegations were true as well.

Good thing we are best buds :)
He comes over every weekend now for playtime!  I gets sooo excited when I see him in the window that I start to whine- and for those of you who don't know, I am a relatively quiet kinda dude.  Guess it's true to watch out for the quiet ones, BOL!  Auntie Jen-Jen says Dillon starts getting crazy as soon as he hits my street cuz he knows where he's going and he can't wait to get there.  Despite his words otherwise- he loves me!! could he not!!

Barks atcha soon!!

PeeS.....NO Dillon....I am not posting your rebuttal or comments again
(even under da threats of force...or pee, BOL)!
This is MY blog :)

New Stuff: Final

So this is the lastest posts about my new stuffs that I got at Sloppy Kisses.  Well...of course, mom could go shopping again but for now- this is it!!

I got this bestest toys and treats.  The treats are yummy little pieces of heaven and are called Belly Rubs.  I love them almost as much as the real thing!  And the other thing I got there is the bestest toy yet.  It's my circle squeaker (Tuffies Ring).  It is round, squeaky and I can't chew threw it no matter how hard I try!!

(Levi's mom here: It's made by Tuffies and they rate their toys on a scale of 1-10 and this toy is a 9 for toughness.  Now I was pretty skeptical because he rips through almost everything but he has been unable to get threw this!  It's amazing and I would recommend it for tough chewers.  The link is on the word above.  I have not tried any of the other rankings yet but this one really is a great!  They didn't have the 10 when we were in the store so I haven't tried that yet but he can't get through the 9!)

Whatever mom!  Get off my blog!  It really is the bestest toy and great for tug!

Do you want play wif me or give me one of these here treats?

And she also got this great stuff for me to try.  It's Homemade Beef Stew.  She mixes it in with my kibble and I can't stop licking the bowl it's so yummy!  She said it's all natural ingredients, I just say it's all natural yumminess- like me!! :)

And last and hopefully least, my last article of clothing that she bought this time.

What does it say mom?  It's pretty comfy!

It says BWHAT!?

Are you serious mom?
Come on...what are you trying to do to me here?  I have an image to uphold!  Corbin...I don't want to hear a word.  I have no control here....

Ok, whatever!  I am a cool dog.  I can work it out!

Check me out!  Yes, I am still studly!  And I make this look gooood!!  Eatcha hearts out ladies.

And yes!!!  I do love my mom, BOL!

I mean...after all...she feeds me, gives me treats, gives me great belly rubs.  I guess I can wear the occasionally embarrassing shirt....

Ok....can we take it off now before someone in the neighborhood sees me?  Mom...this can just be for you and me at home, k?

Wordless Wednesday

My Wordless Wednesday is in honor of my furiend Puddles who had a mean person comment on her blog this week.  Just wanted to show her we love her and her blog!  Show the love furiends!!
(yes yes, my head is a little bigger than hers, but you gets the idea)

And despite being wordless Wednesday I need to spread the words about some of our blog furiends in need.  Be sure to go and check them out and their fundraisers :)

Do you know Shelby?  Be sure to check out her story and her fundraiser!
You can find her raffle here at Shelby's Christmas Raffle!
What about Jimmy? Check out his story and help his family if you can.

And do you know how I found out about these two stories and doggies that need help?  From my good furiends at K-9 Katastrophe.  They have much needs of their own for some puppies that found them and are need some TLC.
Despite their own need for the puppies, they are donating a portion of their raffle monies to Shelby and Jimmy.  They have the biggest hearts ever!  Help them out if you can...
